Tirah Maidan - Aesthetic Valley of Khyber Agency
The enchanting stories of Tirah valley are the talk of the town these days, so I, Rashid Khan Afridi, decided to travel to the magical valley of Tirah in Khyber Agency with one of my friends, my elder brother, and my beloved uncle.We landed in Darra Adam Khel, a small village in Khyber Agency, on the third day of Eid ul Azha. From there, we took a local van bringing travelers specifically to Tirah Valley. |

When we arrived in the stunning valley, it was impossible to tell whether we were in this mortal world or in heaven! The view was beyond beauty, I cannot find a word to describe the beauty of the spellbinding valley. The magnificent towering mountain ranges, floating snow-like clouds, endless pastures, evergreen trees and plants, the aesthetic sky, the dazzling landscape, it all felt like another beautiful world!

Places to Visit in Tirah Valley Maidan
The Tirah Valley is vast and home to numerous Afridi tribes. We visited Bhotan Shareef, Tirah Bagh, Said Khel, Babar Khel, Bar Qambar Khel, Manry Sar, Tirah Madrassa, and the Tomb of Shahid Khan Afridi's Great Grandfather in the Tirah Valley.
These are some place that we visited. there are many other undiscovered place in Tirah Valley.

We were staying with an acquaintance at their aesthetic muddy house, built many decades ago. No royal castle could compete with the tranquilly of these houses since they were so peaceful and serene. The old muddy huts of Tirah Valley gives nostalgia as they were built by our beloved ancestors. Our elders never get tired of telling the spooky stories of their life spent in the valley.

Endless grasslands bathed in the golden rays of the sun, the beauty of Tirah Valley is not restricted to just the towering hills but an equally, captivating landscape comprising ponds, cold springs, incredibly rich habitat, different specialties like opium and cannabis plants for medicinal use, apricot, walnut, dandasa(walnut tree peel), and tree resin and many other fruits.

DeleteTirah Valley is in Khyber Agency - the tribal region of KPK. This is a must visit place but one cannot go there by their own. One must be accompanied by the native people of Tirah Valley. There are some stay hotel but still one need a company to explore the beauty with locals.
