Geology Field Trip To Khewra Salt Mine
Geology Department of University of Peshawar held a field trip to Khewra Salt Mines on March 12, 2022. The second largest salt mine in the entire world is Khewra! This is normal Day in the Life of a Field Geologist. We lack expertise since we are students in the geology department, and every year, our department organizes field trips to various geological ranges. The visit to the Khewra Salt Mine, Pakistan is intended to investigate and study the geology of salt mining, its extraction, as well as the discovery, identification, and exploration of the many methods employed in salt mines.
